The airship HELIX of the crew THE GRIFFONS began as the fuselage of a Hurcules FREIGHT PLANE salvaged from a crash landing on a grass strip somewhere in North Dakota. Its wings having been damaged beyond repair the aspiring aviators, already known union-wide as skilled welders, fitted the body hull with twelve [12] HELICOPTER ROTORS. The ship runs entirely on a BIOFUEL invented by the ship’s reclusive engineer known only as BUSBY. This fuel requires the grease of hamburger restaurants, which the pirates raid on a regular basis to keep aflight.
Should your application be forwarded to the Recruitment Office for consideration, and should said application be accepted for apprenticeship, the following senior commanding officer may agree to tolerate your presence as contractually agreed below.

The crew HURKS have reportedly abandoned their union contract of junk hunting and remittance and for this reason have been blacklisted, with all union rights suspended (including media dodging, law enforcement intervention, profit-sharing and APPRENTICESHIPS) until discplinary action is taken.
Several warrants for the retrieval of the crew HURKS have been issued due to a continued failure to report. Believed to have rechristened their crew ‘The Squadroneers’ without submitting the appropriate union permit, no depot has recorded a drop from this renegade crew for several quarters.
We will either consider your application for an alternate ship requiring apprenticeship, or will advise as soon as this crew is apprehended, has been served disciplinary measures and has fulfilled their sentence.
