You Have Been Assigned To: The BLITZRIDERS

The BLITZRIDERS of London, England make use of ABANDONED TUBE LINES, having salvaged and MODIFIED SUBWAY CARS and LOCOMOTIVES of all vintages which were damaged in the Blitz of the Second World War.

Post-1945, entire tunnel networks stretching across the city and surrounding regions were shut down by the British High Commission for Transportation, and replacement lines built. In secret, this industrious crew repaired the condemned tunnels, appropriated trains and linked discreetly to what they call the UPGROUND for night-time salvaging via storm vents and runoff pipes. Through these upground gates they retrieve, sort, pack and load junk, and remit at a specialized union depot on the city’s perimeter.

The societal footprint of Blitzrider pirates is advantageously small, as their rail-ships leave no trace in sight of the ordinary citizenry. They are, however, notorious braggarts, having commandeered and built an entire UNDERGROUND CITY, and have been disciplined several times by union officials for engaging ordinary folk in a manner not befitting the union’s pledge of secrecy. Thankfully, they are rarely believed.

Should your application be forwarded to the Recruitment Office for consideration, and should said application be accepted for apprenticeship, the following senior commanding officer may agree to tolerate your presence as contractually agreed below.
